Yaniv is a graduate student in political theory at Georgetown University. Raised across multiple continents, he came to political writing through competitive debate and a longstanding preoccupation with what liberal democracy actually requires to survive. His work draws on political theory, history, and institutional analysis to examine how ideas shape political behavior and public discourse. Regev’s essays have appeared in The Bulwark, D.C. Journal, and RealClearBooks & Culture, and have explored topics ranging from populism and transparency to government censorship and irregular warfare. He is based in Washington, D.C.
