Sarah Waters is originally from Cambridge, England, but now resides in Sterling, Kansas, where she is Assistant Professor of Language and Literature at Sterling College and Director of the Sterling College C. S. Lewis Center. Recent publications include “Remember Me” (MaRDiE), “Shakespeare on (and in) the Margins: C.S. Reyes] (Journal of Inklings Studies), “Lewis, Lear and The Four Loves” (Unexpected Journal), and “Disrupted Dialogues: Exploring Misgendered Diagnoses and Experiences of Melancholia and Depression Through the Lens of Pericles and Contemporary Psychiatric Practice” (Shakespeare). She also has forthcoming articles in Sehnsucht and Linguaculture. Her book on Lewis and Shakespeare is under contract with KSUP. She regularly speaks internationally on Lewis and Shakespeare, and at least once a year teaches a special topics course on C. S. Lewis. When she isn’t busy teaching classes, running around organizing Lewis Center events, or writing papers, you can find her doing archival work on Lewis, drinking coffee, or chasing a beautiful Kansan sunset.
