Matthew McManus

Matthew McManus recently acquired his PhD in Socio-Legal Studies from York University. After completing his postdoctoral research with the MITACS Centre, he worked as a human rights consultant. McManus his currently working on his first book, Making Human Dignity Central to International Human Rights Law, for the University of Wales Press.

Capitalism and liberal institutions are tremendously powerful social forces that operate both with and through the individuals who engage in economic and political activity.
