Ligia Castaldi is Professor of Law at Ave Maria School of Law. Her scholarship focuses on prenatal rights in international human rights law. Among others, she authored Abortion in Latin America and the Caribbean: The Legal Impact of the American Convention on Human Rights, a book published by Notre Dame University Press in 2020. She teaches courses in International Law, Family Law, and Protection of Human Life in Law and Public Policy, among others.
Professor Castaldi received LL.M. degrees from the University of Groningen and Harvard Law School.
