John Mancini is a social and political philosopher and Research Associate at Moral Ecology Trust. He has a special interest in issues pertaining to education, gender, race, marriage, and law. John’s popular writings include a defense of marriage as an intrinsic social good on the Institute for Family Studies and an exegesis of moral relativism as a threat to America’s moral foundations on RealClear Religion. John also published his first peer-reviewed publication this past January in the forty-first volume of the Southwest Philosophy Review, reflecting on the social implications of Obergefell v. Hodges. John has defended his viewpoints on gender and marriage at several professional conferences, both domestically and abroad. He earned his Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Virginia and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island, where he graduated summa cum laude.
