David Phillips is an appellate attorney in San Diego. A native Californian, David graduated from Pepperdine University (B.A., Philosophy; Political Science) and Westminster Seminary California (M.A., Theological Studies) before attending law school at Harvard. He served as President of the Harvard Federalist Society, Supreme Court Chair of the Harvard Law Review, and was awarded Best Oralist in the Ames Moot Court Competition. After law school, David clerked at the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the D.C. Circuit, and then for Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. at the U.S. Supreme Court. David lives in San Diego with his wife, Megan, and their three children.
