Chris R. Armstrong was Professor of Church History at Bethel Seminary (MN) from 2005-2013 and the Founding Director of Opus: The Art of Work at Wheaton College (IL) from 2014-2018. He is the Senior editor of www.christianhistorymagazine.org and blogs at www.gratefultothedead.com. His most recent book is Medieval Wisdom for Modern Christians: Finding Authentic Faith in a Forgotten Age with C. S. Lewis (Brazos, 2016). Chris received his MA from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a PhD from Duke University.
