Serena Sigillito
SERENA SIGILLITO
Serena Sigillito is Editor of Public Discourse. Before beginning work at the Witherspoon Institute in 2013, Sigillito was the Robert Lewit Fellow in Education Policy at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA). There, she conducted research on curricular standards in American higher education, focusing on the decline of rigorous core curricula and general education programs.
Sigillito received her B.A. in English at the University of Dallas, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a minor in Music. She earned her M.A. in English from the Catholic University of America. In 2015, Ms. Sigillito was named Publius Fellow by the Claremont Institute. She is a 2018-2019 Fellow at the Leonine Forum.
In addition to Public Discourse, she has written for National Review, America Magazine, The Federalist, Aleteia, Verily Magazine, and I Believe in Love. Her media appearances include interviews on Relevant Radio’s A Closer Look with Sheila Liaugimas, The Jennifer Fulwiler Show on SiriusXM, and EWTN News Nightly.
