Maci Hiatt is Assistant Editor of Public Discourse. A recent graduate of Brigham Young University, she received her BA in political science with minors in editing and business management. As an undergraduate, Maci worked as a research assistant for Dr. Daniel Nielson, helping implement a field experiment that evaluated the credibility of laws in the international banking industry. Prior to joining the Witherspoon Institute, Maci interned at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. At Becket, she drafted content for their website and developed communication strategies to spread the mission of “religious liberty for all.”
