Dean Ernie Walton serves as Dean of the Regent University School of Law. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Associate Dean and Associate Professor, teaching various courses, including Sales, Business Structures & Agency, International Law, and National Security Law. He was voted the 2L/3L Professor of the Year in 2024, won the Chancellor’s Award in 2023, and served as the Director of the Center for Global Justice from 2013 to 2023. He has contributed to multiple amicus briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court and published law review articles in the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy (Per Curiam), Oklahoma Law Review, Texas Tech Law Review, and the Texas Review of Law & Politics, among others. He also published numerous op-eds in outlets like the American Spectator, Law & Liberty, and the Civitas Institute.
