Aaron Alexander Zubia is Assistant Professor of Humanities at the Hamilton Center for Classical and Civic Education at the University of Florida. He is the author of The Political Thought of David Hume: The Origins of Liberalism and the Modern Political Imagination. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Law & Liberty, First Things, National Review, Washington Examiner, Interpretation: A Journal of Political Philosophy, and Hume Studies. In 2019-20, he was the Thomas W. Smith Research Associate in the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.
