Serena Sigillito is the Editor-at-Large of Public Discourse and a 2019 Robert Novak Journalism Fellow at The Fund for American Studies.

She earned her BA in English at the University of Dallas as a National Merit Scholar, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude with a minor in Music. She earned her MA in English at the Catholic University of America, where she taught writing. Before coming to the Witherspoon Institute, she served as the Robert Lewit Fellow in Education Policy at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA), where she conducted research on higher education, focusing on the decline of rigorous core curricula. In 2015, Ms. Sigillito was named a Publius Fellow by the Claremont Institute, and in 2018 she was selected as a Fellow of the Leonine Forum.
